Extreme couponing

My husband decided that he'd rather try his hand at extreme couponing instead of a full-time job. He's going to try to do his best to keep mom working so he can stay home with our daughter. We started by buying a $10 for a 52-Week Subscription to the Sunday Edition of the Los Angeles Times ($52 Value)Once you have the weekly manufacturer's coupons you can double up on the savings. Antique Aged-Photos

We had a garage sale today. Miss Eva was happy to play with balloons afterwards & mom did a little photo-editing in Lightroom to get these fun results!

Design Inspiration for a Bachelorette Party/Bridal Shower (Cooking in the Kitchen!)

My friend is getting hitched. This calls for a celebration! I bought her a ceramic baking dish and trivet and inserted a few key items:

Emile Henry Classics Citron Square Baking Dish 9x9-in.

Cast Iron Scrolls Vintage Style Oval Rustic French Country Style Trivet on Feet, French Import

In order to spice things up, I also got her some lingerie and a spatula (leave it up to the imagination!).

I wrapped it all up and included these notes along with it.

A recipe for "Heavy Whipping Cream Using Man Labor".
You can download it from here by right clicking on the image.

It was fun to customize the recipe!

A note just for my friend:

Here is Suzanne posing with her dress.

And here's a little something to go underneath that dress!

Ready to Whip up some fun!

Everyone loves a little bling on their shoes!

I bought these Converse shoes at the Thrift Shop for a couple bucks. The washed up like new and I added a few embelishments and now my princess has some new favorite shoes. The best part is that she can be comfortable wearing her converse shoes with a skirt or dress and still be fashionable!

Miss Eva is already picking out her favorite shoes and outfits to wear!

If you'd like to make a pair yourself, here's what you'll need:
some Aleene's Jewel-It, flat gems, and ribbon for laces.
You will need to scuff your shoes with a rough sponge & clean
them with rubbing alcohol before you adhere the gems.
It is best to use tweezers to align the gems.
