Talking to Your Kids About Abuse

Jill Starishevsky is an assistant district attorney who has prosecuted hundreds of sex offenders and dedicated her career to seeking justice for victims of child abuse and sex crimes. In this book, she speaks to children on their own terms. This book helps establish boundaries for children in a non-threatening, engaging manner. When it comes to their body, there are some parts that are for “no one else to see” and empowers them to tell a parent or teacher if someone touches them inappropriately. I'll be reading this one to my daughter soon.
